Nepalese Writers Club UK

Nepalese Writers’ Club UK (NWCUK) is an informal group of Nepalese writers and literature lovers living permanently or temporarily in the United Kingdom. The group started its journey to help each other in creative writing by holding a monthly meeting up, which is ongoing every month as planned.

NWCUK came into existence having seven writers in September 2016. More than seventy active Nepalese writers and Nepalese literature lovers are affiliated with the group directly as its members from across the UK.

From the beginning, it has a three-fold approach to operation, and they are: firstly, to facilitate critique sessions; secondly, to invite experts to provide creative writing tips on different genres as needed; and, thirdly, to help the member writers get their works published.

To create an environment conducive for the members, we have launched two supportive initiatives, and they are:

1) online voice cast and

2) network library. We believe that these two projects will be effective means to reach wider audiences and create productive networking among Nepalese writers and literature lovers. We invite all Nepalese writers, Nepalese literature lovers and others interested in joining hands. Let’s do small things together to make a big difference.
